Unity CareLink didn’t begin as a tech idea. It began as a human need — a real one. Like many families, caregivers, and direct support professionals, we saw something that felt broken: communication happening everywhere and nowhere at the same time.
In the disability and special-needs support world, there are usually several groups involved in a person’s care: Agencies, Programs, DSPs, Families, and the individual themselves. All of these groups care about the same person — but they don’t always communicate with each other.
This is what “siloed” means: each group operates in its own bubble.
Unity CareLink was created to break that pattern. Not by exposing private information — but by allowing families and support teams to highlight strengths, skills, preferences, and capabilities without relying on diagnoses or limiting labels. It’s visibility that empowers, not visibility that stigmatizes.
This platform is not built for the community — it is built with the community. We imagine a world where families feel empowered, DSPs feel supported, programs feel connected, and progress is visible.
"Unity CareLink will always prioritize people before platform."
